I would like to see the feature from older versions of cerberus that showed the ticket history.
EG: who changed the status to closed, who reopened the ticket, etc

Yeah, you're definitely going to be able to see past actions. That falls under the heading of the audit log: http://www.wgmdev.com/jira/browse/CHD-204
It's not strictly necessary to make the core functionality of Cerberus work, so it hasn't been added back yet, but it's certainly on the roadmap.
