Could this issue be prioritised as I want to make it a fundamental part of our process, but am unable to do so until it is completed.

In addition to this request, having comments e-mailed would be a useful option to this request ( http://www.cerb4.com/forums/showthread.php?t=764 ).

Regards,

Rob

Hi there,
I heard Jeff mention this as he was finishing up the SC/KB stuff, but I can't say for sure when it will be going into the update.

Wow power to the people. Just 3 hours after my request it is checked in to the svn. Talk about meeting peoples expectations!

* CHD-519: [Email Notifications] A worker can now choose to have an e-mail notification of ticket assignment events. Click "my account" in the top right of the Worker UI, then select the "E-mail Notifications" tab.

Haven't tested this yet, but I'm glad to see this functionality is finally there.

Does the functionality extend to the tasks? If it doesn't, then could it?

Keep up the great work and thanks!

Rob

This is excellent, but...

When you assign a ticket to yourself you also get a notification...my memory is short, but I don't really need to be notified when I assign one to myself.

Can that be fixed?

Yeah, we should be able to fix it. A ticket can be assigned automatically, so we're not always going to have a Worker id on an assignation, but it should certainly be doable. I've opened a request for you here: http://www.wgmdev.com/jira/browse/CHD-637

QA verified CHD-637 is no longer occurring as of build 642 (dev) which I believe is currently also the latest stable release.
