Hi,

I have just finished testing our Cerberus 4.0 installation and everything seems to be fine except when I try to ban community users.

I have banned a user and they show as banned in the address book (icon) but they can still login to the support centre and open tickets (I editted the xml to require login for Opening Tickets as well) as well as view previous conversations. Is this correct or is my definition of banning wrong?

Also is it possible to delete community users when their organisation has been removed, we support a few business centre's which tend to have a high turnover of companies and we don't want old contacts cluttering everything?

Regards

Stephen

Banned addresses should make it so that any tickets with that email address as the requester, does not get created. I would think this would carry over to the Support Center as well (after submitting the ticket), but the actual banning of the address does not ban the login info on the Support Center.

Right now this isn't available. I believe there was a jira entry about this, but I'll see if I can track it down (otherwise I'll probably just make a new entry on it)

Thanks for the reply, I suppose it will have to be a return to knuckledusters should anyone misbehave...

A community management plugin would be useful (reset passwords, deletion of account, etc) but I think that this would be just an amalgamation of a number of JIRA requests.

I just tested the banned address item and indeed it does block any new tickets from being created via email or the support center. So while a person could login still and try to open a new ticket, it would be in vain since the ticket would never get created.
