Is it possible using the web based / free version of 4 to import tickets? I'd like to do some
testing with our data and am using the free version of 4 for now.

Hey!
Yeah, you can import real tickets and test away.
The only limitations of the free version:
Limited to 3 workers
A small Cerberus tagline is appended to outgoing mail.Everything else is available: Source code and all the features described on the site/wiki.
Thanks!

I guess my question is more in regard to how to import from Thunderbird or a mail file into the free version. I found the migration guide, http://wiki.cerberusdemo.com/index.php/Migrating_from_Cerberus_Helpdesk_3.x_to_4.0
but since I'm not migrating, I couldn't find any way to put a file or mail headers anywhere. Perhpas I'm just missing something.

Basically, it's similar to a Maildir format (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maildir) where each message is a single file with a .msg extension. Just drop your email into /storage/mail/new/ and run the parser, and Cerberus will pick it up.
