Update- I guess this is what custom workspaces is for....Nevermind I guess.
What I liked about 3.X was the ability for me to have a view of all our clients' tickets in one area, but our developers like clients split up. For instance, I need a view as a manager of support to see everything that's going on but often times the developers need to see just the single client. While I do like the new group based workspace, it seems the auto-trainer is the only way to put things into buckets for filtering.
I saw on the board you're implementing some power features, and I guess my main question is will these features allow sorting by company? It would be very nice, even if they are their own buckets, to have all of one companies tickets in one place without having to return to the main view and apply filters all the time.
Ideally, what would be awesome is to have filters in the parser so (like in Thunderbird for instance) e-mails from *@company.com go to a certain bucket or are associated with comany x for sorting / viewing.
I guess it's hard to explain but I was looking for more features for sorting / organizing than are currently available. Perhaps I'm just too soon. I'm really wanting to use your product but got caught between the 3.x and 4.x debate here and am trying to figure things out.
