Hi,
there has been a discussion on the mailing list in July concerning how custom views will be implemented in Cerberus 4.
Are there any news on that issue?
In Cerberus 3.5.1 our agents make heavy use of a lot of different views (and even different dashboards) and we really like this feature.
I hope it will be somehow implemented in Cerberus 4 again ...

Yeah, Custom Dashboards will make a come-back as an optional plug-in.
We debated adding this feature back to core, but the current defaults are so intuitive and clean we've decided against it.
It's definitely a useful power-user feature and I wouldn't want to get rid of it entirely.

I'll be looking forward to this as well. Being able to view closed and open tickets at the same time is what we do with version 3.

You can do that with a search in Cerb4, but I absolutely understand that it's more convenient to just customize a view to do it. ;)
We'll get that going.

Custom Workspaces are in SVN now. If you do a quick update you'll have a "my workspaces" link from the "mail" menu.

Great, thank you. Is there a way of switching automatically to custom workspaces after login?
