Fetch and Retrieve Search

In case you haven't guessed it yet, this is our first day using Cerberus4.

Is there a way to make Fetch and Retrieve search the content of knowledge base articles? It doesn't appear to be doing so right now. It seems like it is searching only the tags for each article.

Hey there!

Fetch & Retrieve should be scanning the full content from the knowledgebase (as well as subjects). Tags aren't indexed.

Your search URL should look like:
http://www.cerberusweb.com/kb/rss/search/mask

For F&R it's formatted with the #find# token:
http://www.cerberusweb.com/kb/rss/search/#find#

If you still have trouble, try:

Log into the KB
Click 'Configuration'
Click 'Reindex Search'That will rebuild the search indexes on the disk (/cerb4/storage/indexes).

I have set up the fetch and retireve to look at our KB however i seem to only get search result for unspecific information.

Ie i was testing to see if it works by searching for test,

i recieved 2 hits this is great
i then did a search for outlook
again i get a result awesome

but i then searched for the word livelink which has a considerable amount of knowledge and nothing nudda

I have done the reindex but to no avail. Am I doing anything wrong.
