Hi

Before I download v4 I'd like to know if it's at all possible now for users to
view submitted tickets online WITHOUT needing to fully signup and login
to see them. I know that v2.7 or v3 didn't have that benefit.

e.g submit ticket via email, the email would then have a link (with password) back to the GUI for online logging.

This would bring cerberus into line with other support offerings.

Thanks
Aaron

Hey Aaron!

By default, the new Support Center requires logins to view tickets opposed to punching in a ticket ID and key/passphrase.

However, our Community Tools system is about much more than the default Support Center tool, and the ability to do what you need is really simple.

The only major change for us would be creating a passphrase per ticket when the ticket is created, then sending that back to the customer in the auto-reply. I imagine there would also be a way they could request an email of all the masks/passphrases associated with their address.

Originally that's how we were going to do it, but many people wanted logins so they could offer other functionality inside their portal (like billing history, etc).

So the question at this point is whether (1) you want all the other functionality of the Support Center, with your alternate way to check/update tickets without logins, or if (2) you just want a simple tool where people can go to a page and enter a mask/passphrase combo and view a specific ticket online?
