My boss has had me set up this system for ticketing for our clients. He feels that it is very important that it issue both the customer and our IT team a ticket number for easy reference to specific issues. Is this possible?

I was not aware of the "MASK" field. I am not sure if this is what it is intended for but it works like a champ!
Is there a way for us to change the way masks are generated? We would like to conform our ticketing scheme for easier searching.
