Hey guys. We just upgraded to build 666 (662?) and have noticed that, whereas comments previously printed with the ticket conversation when you clicked the Print button, they no longer do so.

Is this a deliberate change? If so, could it be something that can be toggled? I have a user who utilizes this feature. (She prints out way too much stuff, but that's neither here nor there.) I can't find anything in the UI to toggle whether comments are printed.

Hey, Lawrence, what version were you upgrading from? Was it 3.x or a previous build of 4.0?

We upgraded from a previous build of 4. I'm not certain what build number. Somewhere in the 640s maybe? Our webguy would know but he's not in yet. We're now on 662 (666?).

You're right! Comments and sticky notes, for the matter, aren't included in paper printouts.

I personally don't print tickets too often so I know I've been overlooking that logical option that customers may want. I filed this as a "feature improvement" in our tracking portal for the developers to look into later. They will definitely evaluate the likelihood of including this option in a future release.

Be forewarned that any new requests may take a while before being possibly implemented. As I've been hinting in the forums lately, the developers are working hard on Cerb4 right now in anticipation of an upcoming release for milestone #20.

Indeed, I just lost a small wager about whether or not comments print. I'm quite certain they did in a previous build of 4.x, or I'm just crazy... :)

I would love to see this added back to trunk as an option.
