permanently delete tickets

Hi guys, I have rights to permanently delete tickets but I cant seem to make them disappear completely.

the problem is a ticket was created then responded to 100 or so times as a test and its cause a spike in our reporting graphs.

how can I get rid of it?

Even deleted tickets stay in the database until maintenance is run (in case you delete it accidentally, and to make cleanup more efficient). You should be able to run the maintenance task manually (Helpdesk Setup -> Scheduler), or wait til it runs automatically at midnight. (assuming you have an external cron job)

My mistake. I ran the maintenance and found it didn't work. I just scrolled down a bit further and noted I have to have a day of inactivity before it will delete.
