View Full Version : All Ticketcontent in View cut after Umlaut

Hi,

i have update our Helpdesk to Stable (Build 642) from 623.
Zend_Cache is cleared.

I click on a open Ticket The Content is complete truncated after the first umlaut appears :eek:

What can i do to view the complete Content?
When the Message is write in html from the sender then i can click on the original_message.html. But many people write in Only-text.

What can i do now?
I hope my Boss don`t cut me off on Monday:rolleyes:

I'm unable to reproduce this on a 642 build here, with either incoming umlauts (ü,ö) or outgoing ones (ü,ö). What happens if you send a message out with umlauts?

I have found the Problem.

After the update all Ticketcontent in the Database is cut after a umlaut

Our only chance is go to the Backup from yesterday.

God saves the Backup,

our Helpdesk runs now on Build 623 and all Ticketcontent is good. But we have lost all Tickets from today.:(

I think you write the Database new or so after a Update and this cut all the Content after a umlaut.

I have learn from this:rolleyes:
I make directly a backup before i update the Hepldesk.

Ok what you need to reproduce this?

If you can duplicate the behavior on a test installation somewhere where we can have full root access (to debug in the code, etc), that would help us track this down.
