Ways to connect to external customer database

Hi,

We have our own system for storing the customer information. We would like to link to our system using a link in the conversation window (next to the address book link). The only parameter in the link is the e-mail address.

Is this possible?

It shouldn't be difficult, no, but I *am* confused by where you want to put it. Can you post a screenshot with an arrow for me? ;-)
