New Install Directory mapping wrong

I have a brand new installed server and when you hit

http://IP/cerb4 I can see the login page but when you login it goes to http://IP/cerb4/welcome/

it will always give you a 404 error

I was able to complete the install by following the prompts but it appears that an alias or something is inccorrect.

I copied the .htaccess file like in the instructions and i didn't see anything in the docs about changing mappings in apache.

Is there some alias i need to create to fix this error?

Got it...

the .htaccess file just does not like my setup..

remove that and all is ok...

I am still having an issue with support center tho. Even tho I'm entering the confirmation code sent to my email it always tells me that is not what we have in our records.

Can you compare the code sent to your email with the one in the database, in the address_auth table?
